Handog Para Kay Juan: Lumina Homes establishes community pantries Vista Land recognizes its obligation to assist in reducing the country's housing shortage. Thus, it founded Lumina Homes in 2012, which is modeled after a barangay—a joyful, easy, and peaceful community.   Since then, "Barangay Lumina" has instilled a sense of belongingness in its residents. As a result, they are not unfamiliar with the idea of a community pantry. The people have always banded together or assisted one another, particularly during crises and this difficult pandemic.   Lumina Homes, on the other hand, was greatly inspired by community pantry initiatives across the country to initiate Handog Para Kay Juan, a community pantry for homeowners and sellers.   ECQ in NCR Plus Bubble Extended until April 11 Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque declared the extension of the Enhanced Community Quarantine throughout the NCR Plus Bubble , which includes the NCR as well as the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, and Bulacan. This is in response to the Inter-Agency Task Force's advice to extend the ECQ in the NCR Plus Bubble for at least a week. Some of us might already forgot the guidelines under the ECQ so here are some of the things that we need to observe and keep in mind in this extended one week quarantine: People ·         People with ages 17 and below, 65 or older, pregnant women, and with health risks are not allowed to go outside of their houses. List of businesses that will be operational in ECQ The NCR Plus bubble: Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal will be put again under a stricter Enhanced Community Quarantine or ECQ on March 29 (Monday) at 12:01 AM to April 4 (Sunday). President Rodrigo Duterte made this announcement after the reported all time high COVID-19 cases in the Philippines last March 26. In line with this, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque also mentioned that malls will remain operational to provide essential services and goods like the supermarkets, drugstores, and hardware depots. Restaurants will also remain operational for take outs and deliveries. All types of dine-ins, including the outdoor dining or al fresco, will not be allowed during the ECQ.
